  Consumerism

After the development of Ultrasound, the gender reveal party came to play, the popularity of the party soar, and the manufacturers began to associate the two colors to specific genders. Basically a system made using the psychology of the parents wanting to buy more stuff better for their children.

sadly many do not know

After doing a survey with over 50 people and doing 5 interviews, I found out that many do not know the fundamental cause of the situation.

The neutrality-tee

project

"A project to call out the consumerism aspect of the pink and blue gender association that we are all familiar of. With using both colors on one t-shirt, it shows that it shouldn't be divided. Girls and Boys can wear both colors. By using hand-made stamps, the parents and children can make their own unique design. We're saying no to consumerism and having a parent and child bonding through this interactive DIY project."
